Alyah & Azan Ruffedge - Episod Bersama

Bagai camar yang terbang melayang
bersayap bebas tanpa ragu
di langit biru bermadu kasihnya

Bagai cinta yang kau beri dulu
mewangi indah tanpa noda
memagar taman di tasik rinduku

Namun sayang cinta kita
tak slama bersatu
mencalar hatiku
mengapakah begini akhirnya
asmara di jiwa

Begitulah episod cinta bersama
cerita kita kaseh
bekecai rindu hilang sayang dua jiwa
no wowo
Begitulah episod cinta bersama
tak mungkin bersatu
terlerai kasih tanpa sayang dua jiwa

Bukan salah cinta ini tak bersama
suratan penentu sgala
berakhir disini
episod asmara

Untuk bersama

Cinta tak bersama
berakhir disini
berakhir episod
berkecai rindu
wooo

Cinta tak bersama lagi

Surprise rise in US job losses

US employers unexpectedly cut 85,000 jobs in December, but the unemployment rate held steady at 10%, official figures have shown.

The number of job losses was surprising, particularly after November's figures had been revised.

The US Labor Department had initially estimated that 11,000 jobs were cut in November, but now says that the economy had in fact added 4,000 jobs.

Since the recession began in 2007, 7.2 million jobs have been lost in the US.

In 2009 alone, the economy lost 4.2 million jobs.

Analysts were surprised by the latest data.

"I didn't think we'd see something like this until February. I thought we'd have more temporary workers, and the other job indicators we had seemed fairly positive," said Dan Cook from IG Markets.

The construction sector bore the brunt of the job losses last month, shedding 53,000 positions. In manufacturing, 27,000 positions were lost.

However, some sectors added jobs, with professional and business services companies creating 50,000 new positions.

Bruce McCain, chief investment strategist at Key Private Bank, said the latest data showed that getting employment back to normal levels would take some time.

"For the economy, I think the jobs report fits the picture that we have seen of a hesitant recovery," he said.

Jobs challenge

Unemployment levels in the US are at their highest for more than 20 years.

High unemployment is one of the toughest domestic challenges facing Barack Obama's administration.

The president has said that boosting jobs is the best way to tackle the massive US deficit, which stands at more than $1 trillion (£621bn).

In December, Mr Obama outlined a job creation plan, including the proposal to wind up the Troubled Asset Relief Program (Tarp) and use the remaining money from the fund to help lending to small businesses.

Meanwhile, separate data from the Commerce Department showed that US wholesale inventories posted an unexpectedly strong gain in November.

Wholesale inventories rose 1.5%. Economists had predicted a 0.2% drop.

Painting the town red

Does anyone know the origin of the phrase "Let's paint the town red". I always understood it to mean to go out (as on a weekend night)to town and have fun, get crazy, wild or stay out all night

Dollhouse

Echo (Eliza Dushku) is a young woman who literally embodies the Marine Corps' slogan "Be All You Can Be". She is one of a group of men and women who can be, literally, anyone or fulfill any role -- by getting imprinted with personality packages, including memories, skills, language—even muscle memory—for different assignments. The imprints can take them from role to role -- from super spy to kidnap negotiator, from fun weekend fling to expert bank robber, from devoted lover to earth-mother. When not imprinted with a personality package, Echo and the others are basically mind-wiped, living like uncomplicated, unquestioning children in a futuristic dorm/lab dubbed the Dollhouse, with no memory of their work outside the house—or of much else. The show revolves around the childlike Echo's burgeoning self-awareness, and her varying ability to recall who she was before, a problem that begins to seep into her various imprinted personalities and puts her in danger both in the field and in the closely monitored confines of the Dollhouse. In addition are internal problems at the Dollhouse, from security issues to the problems represented by Alpha, an unknown agent who killed almost everyone in the Dollhouse except Echo. Also complicating things is an FBI agent who is actively and with great determination, seeking to find and destroy the Dollhouse.
